TreeGridNet, a government-supervised wholesale operator, aggregates capacity from commercial telecom providers and integrates it into a resilient, mesh-networked system designed for critical government operations, electoral integrity, disaster risk response, and secure inter-agency communications - supporting Ghana's climate-resilience and disaster risk finance objectives.

TreeGridNet Operational Model

Wholesale Operator Role

TreeGridNet negotiates long-term capacity agreements with commercial telecom operators (MTN Ghana, Vodafone Ghana, AirtelTigo, Ascend). Rather than deploying duplicative infrastructure, TreeGridNet leverages existing operator networks and aggregates capacity across multiple providers - consistent with a value-for-money institutional coordination approach.

Redundancy Architecture

TreeGridNet designs multi-path routing such that any single operator failure triggers automatic failover to alternative operators. This ensures government communications continue uninterrupted, regardless of which commercial operator experiences technical issues.

Encryption & Security

End-to-end encryption using government-approved cryptographic standards ensures no commercial operator can intercept, monitor, or interfere with state communications. Secure key management via a dedicated government HSM (Hardware Security Module).
