Definition — Authenticatable Credential
An authenticatable credential is a credential that fills the following criteria:
- Granted or entitled by a body or an authority ("the issuer") other than the subject ("the credential holder").
- The subject does not have decision power with the issuer, at least not in the issuing of credentials.
- The credential is either publicly accessible or easily accessible.
- Not self declared.
